Exchanges/Refunds Policy

Did you realize you'd prefer a different size or color? Or, is the Shape Flexer not quite what you were expecting? No problem! Every purchase comes with a 30 day exchange/refund policy for just such occasions. See all the information you need to know below. 

 

Exchanges
In order to ensure a reasonable return receipt time, shapeflexer.com requires that all exchanges be shipped within 30 days of the customer placing the order in question (though exceptions will be made if the delivery time was longer than 3 weeks which is very unusual but possible on some international orders). We ask that exchanges be shipped using a service that will ensure arrival at our facility within 3 weeks of the order being sent back by the customer. Failure to perform within these time frames may result in a denied exchange request. Once the returned item(s) have arrived at our facility, please allow 1-2 business days for your returned item to be fully processed and inspected.  After which time, you will be issued a store credit for the original order price, less shipping/handling fees

We suggest all exchanges be sent via a traceable carrier and that you keep tracking information as a proof of shipment and delivery in case there is an issue.
As previously stated, the shipping costs of an exchange due to incorrect ordering or sizing/color issues are not covered under our exchange policy.  In this case, shipping and handling charges (for one hat) of $7.95 (USA orders), $9.95 (Canadian orders), or $11.95 (all other international orders) will be deducted from the store credit for the exchange.
However (for USA orders), shapeflexer.com will cover return shipping charges for items that are received in a defective condition or when the incorrect item is sent (for exchanges of defective/incorrect items outside the USA, please email info@shapeflexer.com).
Shipping premiums paid for expedited shipping cannot be refunded under any circumstance.
No item is eligible for exchange unless it is in the original condition in which it was sent. This means no signs of wear, hang tag included (though it doesn't have to be attached) and in new condition. We suggest re-using the original packaging when shipping items back.  We will not accept any exchanges for items that do not fit these criteria. Such exchanges will be rejected and the customer will bear responsibility for claiming the item(s) from our warehouse.

  Refunds

As with exchanges, shapeflexer.com requires that all returns for refunds be shipped within 30 days of the customer placing the order in question (though exceptions will be made if the delivery time was longer than 3 weeks which is very unusual but possible on some international orders). We ask that returns for refunds be shipped using a service that will ensure arrival at our facility within 3 weeks of the order being sent back by the customer. Failure to perform within these time frames may result in a denied refund request. Once the returned item(s) have arrived at our facility, please allow 3-5 business days for the item(s) to be inspected, and for the refund to be fully processed.
We suggest all returns for refunds be sent via a traceable carrier and that you keep tracking information as a proof of shipment and delivery in case there is an issue.
Return for refund shipping costs due to changing of mind/buyer’s remorse are not covered under our return policy.
Shipping and handling charges (for one hat) of $7.95 (USA orders), $9.95 (Canadian orders), or $11.95 (all other international orders) will be deducted from the refund amount.

Orders that are refused upon initial delivery and returned to us will be issued a full refund minus the cost we paid (shipping and handling) to ship the item out to you.
